rammer på Den Gamle Bys stemningsfulde gamle scene: Helsingør Theater.
En tur til Holbergs JUULE-STUE vil give anledning til mange gode snakke, for meget er anderledes end julen
er i dag, men der er også meget, der er det samme.
Scenen er sat for en historie, der i Holbergs ånd er fyldt med intriger. Dramaet sætter julens
traditioner i perspektiv og giver et indblik i det hykleri, julen består af. Et hykleri hvor kristne dyder i
virkeligheden dækker over en anledning til hedenske ritualer, grove løjer, fornøjelse, drikkegilde og
utroskab.
