Oplev Ludvig Holbergs 'Juule-Stue' i autentiske rammer, når Teaterselskabet PSV for 8. gang opfører denne juleklassiker på Helsingør Theaters scene i Den Gamle By.
I forestillingen binder tjenestepigen Pernille sin herre Jeronimus en historie på ærmet om en kalv født med høj hat og bukser. Historien får Jeronimus til at aflyse årets julestue til stor fortrydelse for alle, ikke mindst Jeronimus' unge kone Leonora, som havde håbet at kunne lege julelege med sin beundrer Leander.
Vanen tro er det ikke blot ikke rammerne, der er autentiske, når Teaterselskabet PSV går på scenen; også kostumerne, scenografien, musikken og skuespillet udføres i autentisk 1700-tals stil, og manuskriptet er som altid Ludvig Holbergs uredigerede originaltekst.
Med sit ene akt er ‘Juule-stue’ en af Ludvig Holbergs korteste komedier, og forestillingens spilletid på ca. 60 minutter gør den velegnet for hele familien - eventuelt som afslutning på et besøg i Den Gamle Bys hyggelige juleudstillinger.
