Kunsten her og nu! Få et overblik over samtidskunsten
Meyers Spisehus har indgået et samarbejde med Peter Kær, kunsthistoriker og tv-vært.
Peter Kær er anerkendt for sine svært underholdende foredrag, hvor han gennem en uortodoks tilgang til materialet lader kunsten folde sig ud og gør den relevant for os. Peter vil denne aften folde kunsten ud i Spisehuset i Lyngby, der til lejligheden kreerer en særlig ret, der passer til aftenens tema. Aftenen inkluderer naturligvis ligeledes kaffe og kage i pausen. Derudover kan diverse drikkevarer tilkøbes efter den enkeltes ønsker og behov i løbet af arrangementet.
Peter er kendt af mange som tv-vært på programmer som Hvem vil være millionær, Tv-pil og Hit med sangen. I en voksen alder forfulgte han sin drøm og blev i 2013 cand. mag i Kunsthistorie og Kulturformidling.
Denne aften fortæller Peter om hvor kunsten er lige nu og her. Med udgangspunkt i årets største kunstudstillinger: Venedigbiennalen og Documenta 14 i Tyskland, er der fokus på nogle af de mest interessante kunstnere og tendenser idag. Peter Kær har besøgt udstillingerne og samlet et facetteret udvalg af hyperaktuelle kunstnere som Mark Bradford, Candice Breitz, Erwin Wurm, Takahiro Iwasaki og Anne Imhof. Samtidskunsten sættes derudover i perspektiv i forhold til tidligere strømninger, så det bliver lidt nemmere at forstå udviklingen.
