Denne aften i maj vil man kunne opleve barokkens skønne toner i den store sals meget passende omgivelser, når medlemmer af Trinitatis Barokensemble gæster Selsø.
Trinitatis Barokensemble er en gruppe musikere som hører til omkring Trinitatis Kirke – kirken der ligger i umiddelbar forbindelse med Rundetaarn i København. Størrelsen af ensemblet og hvilke musikere, som spiller, varierer fra koncert til koncert.
Gruppen, der gæster Selsø denne aften er violinist Merete Steffensen, blokfløjtenisten Bolette Roed og cellisten Kjeld Steffensen, samt Søren Christian Vestergaard, som er organist og kantor i Trinitatis Kirke, der medvirker på cembalo.
Kammermusikaftenen på Selsø vil byde på liflig musik af bl.a. Vivaldi, Corelli og Mozart. De tre barokmusikere hører alle til eliten af barokmusikmiljøet i Danmark.
