Johnny & the Heartbeats har gennem de sidste par år spillet i kulturhuse, forsamlingshuse, restauranter, receptioner og en masse andre gode spillesteder med deres (næsten) akustiske udgaver af musikken fra 60’erne og deromkring. De kommer langt omkring musikalsk med sange af så forskellige kunstnere som: Beach Boys, Van Morrison, Bill Haley, The Seachers, Lynard Skynard, Simon og Garfunkel, Beatles, The Byrds, Neil Young, Fleetwood Mac, Eric Clapton, The Temptations samt Crosby, Stills & Nash.
Alt sammen i overbevisende akustiske udgaver med flotte vokalharmonier, godt understøttet af både guitarer og “rytmeafdeling”.
Fremførelsen bliver krydret med en hel del anekdoter undervejs. Og du får sikkert også historien om, hvordan bandet havnede på Færøerne efter en turne til de amerikanske baser i Grønland. Eller hvordan det gik med det der Jørgen Ingmann brevkursus i guitarspil. Eller .... og sådan kan de blive ved. Og du skal nok komme til at vippe fødderne i takt til musikken.
Koncerten er GRATIS. Billetter er ikke nødvendige, I dukker bare op på dagen!
