Uddrag fra Bjarne Søltofts anmeldelse af gruppens seneste album “Dear Earthling" i JazzSpecial 2020:"En forbløffende gruppe, hvis righoldige udtrykspotentialer holdes i tømme med sund sanselighed og intuition, for at nå frem til et indsigtsfuldt udtryk af abstrakt melodik i komplekse gruppedelinger - alt sammen i let, klar og slående skønhed.Musikken er ren fryd og livsbonus med en musikalsk nuancering i slægtskab med Miles Davis-kvintetten med Wayne Shorter og Herbie Hancock i årene 1965-68, som dengang frembragte nye opdagelser af jazzens hemmelige kompleksiteter. Fosterchild har på egen vis udviklet musikken videre i disse spor, og samtidig inkorporeret træk af abstraktioner og lydeksperimenter. Kasper Tranberg udfolder fuldstædig sit bredt varierede trompetspil, så det næppe findes bedre i hele jazzverdenen.
Pladens ti numre er skrevet af musikerne og viser et indre slægtskab, der styrker oplevelsen af pladen som en velkomponeret helhed - et mesterværk, fremført ypperligt af alle de fem fosterbørn i lykkelig forening.”
