Kaare Norge - Danmarks mest kendte og anerkendte klassiske guitarvirtuos.
I forbindelse med åbning lørdag den 8. september kl. 13 af udstillingen i Langes Magasin af billedkunstneren Kaare Norge, afholder Frederikssund Kunstforening fredag den 7. september kl. 19.30 koncert med guitaristen Kaare Norge. Dørene åbnes kl. 19.00, hvor der bliver lejlighed til at købe et glas vin og se et lille udpluk af Kaares malerier.
Med sit solospil har Kaare Norge nu igennem flere årtier tryllebundet publikum, høj som lav i alle aldre. Dette har gjort Kaare Norge til en eftertragtet instrumentalist, som mestrer at spænde sit repertoire fra de helt store komponister som Bach, Mozart, Chopin, til de mere folkelige melodier fra nær og fjern, over til store populære navne som The Beatles og Led Zeppelin, for bare at nævne nogle få eksempler.
Som komponist har Kaare også markeret sig f.eks. med titelmelodien - "Homage to Life" af Kaare Norge - oprindeligt skrevet som kendingsmelodi til DR TV Programmet - ” En naturlig Forklaring” (Dus med Dyrene) med Vært Poul Thomsen 1992.
I de senere år har kompositionerne mest været for sologuitar som f.eks. den spanske dans " Danza la Primavera", men også eksempelvis sangen "Når du forlader mig" for guitar og sang med tekst af Tove Ditlevsen.
Det anmelderroste album ”The Song The Melody – Carl Nielsen”, med Kaares egne soloarrangementer af 14 Carl Nielsen-sange, er hans seneste album (2015).
