Los Cubraz spiller en koncert med fokus på son, bolero, cha cha cha – og en "strejf" af salsa. Los Cubrazs koncerter er altid en livlig og energisk musikalsk oplevelse med masser af sange, der får danser til at bevæge sig hele aftenen. Eller man nyde et kold glas vin og drømme sig langt væk, fordi stemningen i musikken tager os på en tur til de Caribiske øer.
Son-musikken kendes bl.a. fra restauranter og cafeér i Havana på Cuba, og blev især kendt i resten af verden ved hjælp af Buena Vista Social Club's populære CD og filmhit i 90'erne.
I en anmeldelse fra d. 26 august 2020 skrev Fyns Stiftstidende: ...Det var mere end svært for publikum at sidde stille, da det dansk-cubanske band Los Cubraz fredag aften genåbnede sæsonen i Brenderup Højskoles Musikforening med et brag af en koncert...
Los Cubraz består af Yemi Valdes (sang), Maria Carelse (tenorsax & kor), Jacob Rahbek Poulsen(tres), Juan Borges (guitar & kor), Niels Prins (kontrabas) og Yeziel Lazo (bongos, congas & kor)

- - Der kan købes danskvand, sodavand, øl og vin i baren under tapas og koncerten
- - Man skal ikke kunne danse eller have en dansepartner med for at kunne deltage til tapas og koncerten samt afterparty.
- - Parkering er foran døren.
- - Hvalsø Kulturhus ligger tæt på Hvalsø station (5 min gang forbi søen)
