Inspireret af den aktuelle udstilling på Munkeruphus samt oprindelige kulturers rytmer, instrumenter og nære forbindelse til naturen, skaber Birgit Løkke denne eftermiddag en helt særlig musikalsk oplevelse, hvor hun forener instrumenter fra mange dele af verden med træets klang, stenenes rislen og muslingeskallernes sagte klukken. Hør hvordan hun i samspil med naturens egne lyde og frekvenser skaber lydlandskaber, hvor naturen både er instrument og fortæller.
I forbindelse med koncerten fortæller Birgit Løkke også om, hvad der inspirerer hende og i særdeleshed hendes iagttagelser af og lytten til naturen, som da hun var alene i Canadas ødemark i 43 graders frost og lærte at synge af en ørn. Om hvordan hun på sine mange rejser har mødt musikere og deres instrumenter, hvilket har tilført nye nuancer til hendes eget musikalske univers.
Koncerten er gratis efter betalt entré, men kræver tilmelding, da der er begrænsede pladser.
Birgit Løkke (f. 1967) er percussionist og komponist og har spillet i mange forskellige sammenhænge, fra solokoncerter til bigbands, i ind- og udland. Hun komponerer musik til film og teater. Birgit Løkke har de seneste år udviklet egne projekter – musikdramatiske værker, hvor kunst og videnskab forenes. Hun har tidligere været percussionist i Savage Rose og Marilyn Mazurs Percussion Paradise og er modtager af Sonnings Musikpris. Hun har desuden arbejdet sammen med fx Pasteur Instituttet i Paris, geologer og seismologer, skuespillere og andre kunstnere.
Arrangementet er gratis efter betalt entré, men kræver tilmelding, da der er begrænset antal pladser.
