Description
Hyunwoo is a chef from Seoul, South Korea. After years working in the culinary world back home, he left his longtime job this spring to travel — a journey that led him to Copenhagen. Deeply inspired by the city’s warmth and creativity, he returned on a working holiday and now cooks at Atelier September.
Through his food (and his recipe channel @woowow_recipe), Hyunwoo explores the joy of everyday cooking — creating new recipes and sharing them with others.
The Menu
“For me, gimbap is deeply connected to the everyday life of Koreans. I remember my mother making it the night before a school picnic — the care, the anticipation. Even today, it’s a meal that feels like home.
Through this pop-up, I want to share those small, beautiful moments of comfort and thoughtfulness with others.” says Hyunwoo
🥢 Tuna Gimbap — A seaweed rice roll filled with tuna mayo, carrot, and pickled radish. A humble yet addictive Korean comfort food, perfect for any time of day.
🍜 Japchae — Glass noodles stir-fried with chives, mushrooms, carrot, and onion. A light, savory-sweet dish full of texture and balance — entirely vegetarian.
🍲 Miyeok-guk — A nourishing, mineral-rich soup made with seaweed. Traditionally enjoyed on birthdays and after childbirth, it’s a soothing reminder of care and renewal.
