I år er 200 år siden, den danske komponist F.L.Æ. Kunzen døde.
Dette markerer Birkerødkoret med en opførelse af F.L.Æ. Kunzens oratorium Skabningens Halleluja.
F.L.Æ. Kunzen (1761-1817) blev født i Lübeck, men levede en stor del af sit liv i København, hvor han var kapelmester ved Det Kgl. Teater. Kunzen skrev en lang række værker, bl.a. operaen Holger Danske (1789), som er optaget i Kulturministeriets Kulturkanon, og de to oratorier Opstandelsen (1796) og Skabelsens Halleluja (1797).
Sammen med Kunzens velklingende og melodiske oratorium opføres Haydn: Messe i B-dur, "Harmoniemesse" (1802). Det er Haydns sidste store værk, og det ligger på højde med Bachs H-mol-messe og Mozarts Messe i C-mol.
