Late Night Venture
LATE NIGHT VENTURE kan vel bedst beskrives som en kosmisk rejse gennem tid og rum.
Den københavnske kvintet Late Night Venture har efterhånden 3 albums og mere end 200 shows i ind- og udland bag sig og tager med deres nye album “Tychonians” et skridt videre i udforskningen af deres personlige og unikke fortolkning af moderne post- og space-rock. Over albummets 6 numre på samlet 45 minutter, udfolder Late Night Venture et både hårdtslående og atmosfærisk univers, hvor tunge guitar-riffs blander sig med Moog-synths og vokale elementer. “Tychonians” tager - som titlen antyder - afsæt i den danske astronom Tycho Brahes liv & skæbne. Fra ungdommens banebrydende videnskabelige opdagelser og berømmelse til landflygtighed, hævngerrighed & død i eksilet i Prag.
Men “Tychonians” handler også om at genopdage nattehimlens mysterier, stjernernes vandren og universets ufattelige dimensioner, skønhed & gru - og som sådan er albummet en hyldest til menneskets møde med kosmos. Et møde, som der i den moderne tid, sjældent er tid & plads til, når man halser hovedkuls gennem livet. Vi er idag alle centrum i hvert vores eget univers, sådan som mennesket og jorden var det på Tycho Brahes tid. Og som sådan er vi alle - stadigvæk - “Tychonians”!
The Foreign Resort
THE FOREIGN RESORT spiller eksplosiv post-punk blandet med dyster new-wave. Bandet har de seneste år spillet mere end 400 koncerter på spillesteder og til festivaler i Europa og Nordamerika, bl.a. SXSW i Austin, Texas, Wave Gotik Treffen i Leipzig, Tyskland og senest til Canadian Music Week i Toronto, Canada.
Den københavnske trio har turneret med bands som The Raveonettes og A Place To Bury Strangers, og trioen har fået stor ros for deres energiske og medrivende liveshow. Mellem deres mange koncerter i udlandet er det nu blevet tid til at spille på Kulturstation Vanløse.
A Horrible Death To A Horrible Man
Københavnsk, tungt Post-Rock band, der tager udgangspunkt i tunge riffs og blander det op med elementer fra Noiserock og Grunge, samt et mørk og personligt tekstunivers. Numrene er lange og tungsindige, hvilket bringer lytteren ind i et univers, der er tilpasset de lange, kolde efterårs og vinter måneder i DK.
