Den enestående pianist Lázara Cachao er noget af det tætteste man kommer på den traditionelle cubanske musikstil fra 1950'erne. Cachao har nemlig arvet sin fars musikalitet, han var intet mindre end en af Cubas bas-legender: Orlando "Cachaíto" López fra Buena Vista Social Club.
Lázara Cachao er uddannet fra det klassiske konservatorium i Havana og hendes pianistiske indflydelser er bl.a. fra Frank Emilio Flynn, Peruchín, Rubén Gonzáles.
Til koncerten vil man have mulighed for at høre de smukkeste cubanske stilarter: Danzón, Cha-cha-chá, Bolero og Descarga (cuban jam).
