En stærk og virkningsfuld teknik, skabt den amerikanske skuespiller Fay Simpson i 2013.
Den fysiske teknik giver skuespilleren mulighed for blandt andet at portrættere karakterer med mange facetter og åbne sig for at arbejde sandfærdigt med enhver karakter. Workshoppen er for skuespillere, der endnu ikke har stiftet bekendtskab med Lucid Body teknikken.
Der fokuseres på at udvide skuespillerens fysiske og følelsesmæssige spændvidde, og at gøre op med mønstre, vaner og blokeringer i den fysiske og emotionelle krop. Dermed åbnes der for at nye impulser kan blive udtrykt og nye adfærdsmåder kan blive udforsket. Der arbejdes med kropsholdning, personlige vaner og hvordan vi kommer udover det. Du vil gennemgå en grundig yoga-baseret fysisk og åndedrætsorienteret opvarmning, studere de 7 chakra energicentre omkring rygraden og lave karakterøvelser samt partnerøvelser. Du vil opleve en stor følelsesmæssig og fysisk fleksibilitet.
Workshoppen, vil give dig grundteknikker så du kan arbejde videre selv og dermed få et nyt take på hvordan du kan gå til dine roller.
Undervisningen foregår på engelsk.
Husk tøj du kan arbejde fysisk i.lørdag d. 3/11 og søndag d. 4/11 kl. 10 – 14
Monika underviste første gang i Danmark på Skuespillerakademiets 2. semester i 2014 og har været her hvert år siden, de sidste år for også at undervise på Statens Scenekunstskole i København.
