Traditionen tro åbner Selsø d. 4. maj med den stemningsfulde Lysfest - i år med et venetiansk inspireret maskebal med damer og herrer klædt i rokokoens smukke farver. Trio Amarise, som også spillede til Lysfesten sidste år, spiller stemningsfuld musik af Vivaldi og Mozart i skæret af de levende lys i baroksalen. I år har Trio Amarise også en cembalist med, som vil bidrage yderligere til en ægte 1700-talsoplevelse.
