Sangerinden Marie Carmen Koppel kommer til Frederikssund – helt nøjagtig til Tolleruphøj på Roskildevej 160A, hvor hun sammen med pianisten Steen Rasmussen giver koncert. Søndag den 27.maj 2018 kl. 14.00 indtager duoen centerets lyse og indbydende café, og publikum kan se frem til en rørende og medrivende koncert bestående af et repertoire, som musikalsk har rødder i både, soul, gospel, rock, pop og jazzmusik. Der er med andre ord lagt op til en alsidig musikalsk oplevelse for det fremmødte publikum.
Marie Carmen Koppel er uden tvivl en af landets førende sangere inden for sit felt. Siden hendes debut i starten af 1990´erne har hun indspillet en lang række CD´er med såvel egne kompositioner som fortolkninger af kendt og mindre kendt repertoire, givet et utal af koncerter i Danmark og USA, både som solist og i samarbejde med andre kunstnere, samt optrådt i både radio og TV.
