Denne ekspressive, kraftfulde og dynamiske duo tager både egne kompositioner og jazzstandards under kærlig behandling. De har spillet sammen i årtier hvilket kan høres I deres tætte og kreative sammenspil. De både udfordrer og udforsker jazztraditionen. Udtrykket er sprudlende, intenst, vildt og lyrisk. Det er det levende nu der gælder når Schmidt og Suwalski udveksler musikalske indfald og leger med materialet. De er inspireret af både jazzens store mestre og af folketone fra Skandinavien, Vest- og Sydafrika.
Marie Schmidt blev i 2022 tildelt René Daugaards legat for sit fine bidrag til den Danske jazzscene. Hun kendes også fra orkestret Sophisticated Ladies, Radio Bevort mv..
Katrine Suwalski kendes også som leder af orkestret Another World, BonNoir Trio, Kasola, Rhythm & Wind, og fra sine internationale samarbejder med bla. Dela Botri
