Et enestående musikalsk møde mellem den indiske mester AshwaniShankar på det traditionelle indiske rørblæserinstrument Shehnei og den danske saxofon-virtuos Lars Møller. I tæt samspil med tabla-spilleren Heiko Dejker skaber de deres helt egen udtryksfulde og unikke fortolkning af den traditionelle indiske musik.

Specielt til konservsatorier og MGK vil der være mulighed for at eleverne får ”hands-on” mulighed for at spille melodiske of rytmiske mønstre fra den indisk Raga-tradition.
Ashwani Shankar og Heiko Dejkers beøsg i Danmark er arrangeret af Global Jazz Explorer Institute i samarbejde med JazzDanmark og Dansk Kulturinstitut.
