Experience the world-renowned Mathias Reumert Group and their one-of-a-kind fusion of contemporary percussion music and Performance Art on March 29 & 30 in the unparalleled acoustics of Nørrebro's KoncertKirken.
The ensemble is joined by mezzo-soprano Anna Caroline Olesen, a rising star of the contemporary music scene, who is featured in two supreme avantgarde masterworks from the late 20th century: 'Síppal, dobbal, nádihegedűvel' by György Ligeti and 'Sequenza III' by Luciano Berio.
Mesmerizing rhythms and Eastern symbolism come together in Chiung-Ying Chang's ritual performance work 'Solar Myth', in which masked taiko drummers call for an attack against a feminine superpower. Its powerful, poetic and authentic music theatre, delivered with virtuosity by Reumert & co
