ALICE på Stairway går i sort! Under navnet METALICE dedikerer vi en lang stribe torsdage i hele 2023 til det tungeste artilleri på musikscenen. Når METALICE står på plakaten, kan du rulle ind på vores venue i Vanløse og dykke ned i et bredt udvalg af bands der syder og bobler på den danske metalscene. Programmet er udformet i samarbejde med nøje udvalgte aktører og ildsjæle fra miljøet, som sikrer en høj og nysgerrighedspirrende profil. Det bliver hårdt, råt, mørkt og live. Billetprisen inkluderer en fadøl.
Black Tritonus
Blasfemisk riff-maraton fra et ungt band, der bekender sig til den gamle skole af dødsmetal. Bandnavnet er en reference til det middelalderlige toneinterval inden for musikteori, som skurrer særligt satanisk i ørerne. Vær på vagt, for det bliver vredt, hurtigt, hårdtslående og kraftfuldt.
Afdød
Et dødsmetallisk jerngreb fra det mørkeste øvelokale i Slagelse. Med et væld af inspirationer inden for metallens verden gør dette nye band på metalscenen deres bedste for at blæse publikum bagover.
Wayward Dawn
Fra Skanderborg stammer denne dødskvartet med en kompromisløs tilgang til gammeldags dødsmetal, sådan som genrens pionerer spillede den. Gennem et ubønhørligt bombardement af brutal energi udforskes temaer som ensomhed, angst og afhængighed. Dynamikken mellem tonstunge frontalangreb og stakåndede groove-passager skaber intens panikfølelse, så det sortner for øjnene.

Mens vores koncertsal på Nørre Allé 7 renoveres, genhuses ALICE midlertidigt på Stairway i Vanløse i 2023.

ALICE at Stairway paints it black! We have dedicated a number of Thursday evenings throughout 2023 to the heaviest artillery on the Danish music scene. METALICE is a recurring conceptual frame which will highlight some of the most sizzling and seething new metal acts, carefully organized in cooperation with some of the most enthusiastic curators from the underground scene. Immerse yourself in a hard, raw, blackened and utterly live experience. The ticket price includes one draught beer.
ALICE at Stairway
While the concert hall at Nørre Allé 7 is getting a new ventilation system, ALICE is moving into the music venue Stairway in Vanløse on January 1st 2023.

Opened on the 1st of February 2018, ALICE is Copenhagen’s powerhouse for adventurous music. ALICE is presenting a bold and high quality program of global roots, jazz/improv, electronic music, sonic experiments and much more, shedding light on musical roots and legendary artists as well as exciting new breakthroughs from all over the world.
