Mit liv som retspsykiater
Mød en af landets førende retspsykiatere, speciallæge i psykiatri og ph.d. Mette Brandt-Christensen.
På dette foredrag giver hun et unikt og detaljerigt indblik i retspsykiatrien herhjemme. Hun fortæller om
koblingen mellem psykiatri, jura og det civile samfund. Publikum vil også høre om forbrydelsens sind,
særlige kriminalitetstyper, kriminalitet og psykisk sygdom, sindssygdomsbegrebet i både civile- og
straffesager og så kommer Mette Brandt-Christensen ind på et par sager, som er kendt fra medierne.
Som næstformand i Retslægerådet kommer Mette Brandt-Christensen også ind på de mange etiske
dilemmaer, arbejdet også indebær.
Desuden vil Mette Brandt-Christensen dele ud af sin store erfaring med de faglige overvejelser, hun dagligt
møder i sit arbejde som overlæge på Retspsykiatrisk Afdeling i Region Hovedstaden, både ved Psykiatrisk
Center Sct Hans og Retspsykiatrisk Center Glostrup.
Der vil også være tid til spørgsmål og dialog.
