Der står både en Pulitzer-pris, en Emmy, en Peabody-award og en Webby i trofæskabet hos Zach Wise (for bare at nævne nogle af mandens mange priser). Priserne har han fået fået sin fremsynede, digitale journalistik i New York Times’ legendariske multimedia team og på The Las Vegas Sun.
Han har hos Knight Labs desuden udviklet open-source-værktøjerne 'TimelineJS' og 'StorymapJS', som du sandsynligvis har set i aktion på en lang række nyhedssider.
Torsdag den 1. juni har du chancen for at møde superstjernen Zach Wise i København, hvor han deler ud af sin viden om visuel storytelling.
Zach Wise vil vise, hvordan visuelle fortælleformer er nødvendige for at kunne konkurrere, men også for at forblive relevant i et hårdt presset mediemarked, hvor kampen om opmærksomhed aldrig har været hårdere.
Som professor på Medill School of Journalism på Northwestern University vil han også give sit bud på, hvordan augmented reality og virtual reality kommer til at vende op og ned på den måde, vi er vant til at fortælle historier på.
Arrangementet er gratis for medlemmer af DONA og DJ’s Kreds 1, men skynd dig at få en billet, da der er er et stærkt begrænset antal.
Tid: Torsdag den 1. juni kl. 17-19. Dørene åbner klokken 16.45.
Sted: Hos Bolius.dk på Jarmers Plads 2 i centrum af København.
Pris: 100 kroner, men gratis for medlemmer af DONA eller DJ’s Kreds 1.
