Voz Nueva blev dannet i efteråret 2003 med ønsket om at tage arven op efter den århusianske Trio Celestes ny-musik-legender Bodil Gümoes, Erling Møldrup og Einar Nielsen.
Signe Asmussen sopran, Frederik Munk Larsen guitar og Henrik Larsen slagtøj har hver for sig og sammen utrætteligt gået på opdagelse i og formidlet den ny kompositionsmusik. Til denne MODERNE MANDAG har trioen sammensat et program med udgangspunkt i to komponister, som repræsenterer to af datidens radikale holdninger, den komplekse modernisme og den ekstreme enkelhed, nemlig Axel Borup-Jørgensen og Henning Christiansen. Gå ikke glip af udstillingen Christiansen i høj sø på Museet for samtidskunst i Roskilde, der slutter 22. april. Koncerten slutter med 2 sange af den columbianske komponist Ablis Álvarez, der i 2004 debuterede fra Det Kongelige Danske Musikkonservatorium.
