1939: Joan Crawford er på toppen af sin karriere, og beslutter sig for at adoptere en datter for at fylde et tomrum ud i sit liv. Men det kan være svært at være mor.. For hollywoodstjernen er besat af perfektion inden for alt fra sin karriere til rengøring, og det blandes med lidt for mange flasker sprut og flossede nerver, som efterhånden kommer til at hænge ret meget uden på hendes skønne tøj. Udefra ser alt perfekt ud i “Brentwoods smukkeste hus”, men her ser vi angiveligt alt indefra.
Filmen starter kl. 20 - kom fra kl. 19 og skål med os. Festen fortsætter i biografsalen, og mon ikke vi serverer noget som selv Joan Crawford ville have fundet perfekt til lejligheden!

1939: Joan Crawford is peaking in Hollywood and she decides to adopt a daughter to fill out a void in her personal life. But it can be quite hard to be a mother... and the moviestar is obsessed with perfection when it comes to everything from her career to cleaning. Too many bottles of booze and bad nerves makes it just worse. From the outside everything looks perfect in “the most beautiful house in Brentwood”, but here we allegedly explore everything from the inside.
The film starts at 8PM - arrive from 7PM and toast with us. The party continues in the cinema and who knows - we might serve you more liquid stuff than just silverscreen drag realness!
