Af ren kærlighed til Thin Lizzy/Phil Lynott og Gary Moore er MOORE LIZZY blevet dannet. De 2 har arbejdet sammen i flere sammenhænge og Gary var også en del af Thin Lizzy på albummet Black Rose. Derudover har deres veje krydset flere gange, bl.a. på Gary Moores albums, hvor barndoms-vennen Philip Lynott var en hyppig gæst. De er sammen på Gary Moore’s rockhits som 'Out In The Fields' og 'Military Man'. Vi kender alle Thin Lizzys’s klassikere: 'Boys Are Back In Town' og 'Dancing In The Moonlight', Jailbreak' m.fl. ... og Gary Moore blev for alvor opdaget i Danmark da han storhittede med 'Still Got The Blues'.
