Moving a memory af Convoi Exceptionnel
Moving a memory er en forestilling og udstilling, der tager udgangspunkt i gymnastiksalen. Vi dykker ned i fænomener og erfaringer, der findes i dette rum, som de fleste har et forhold til. Duftene af lakeret trægulv, tykke reb og brune ribbevægge. Skemalagt motion, som kan aktivere et spænd af følelser. Gymnastiksalen er et sted forbundet med både glæde og frygt. Et rum i fortiden og nutiden.
Den nordiske gymnastiksal er et symbol på den sunde krop, som er blevet disciplineret og trænet til at opnå et godt helbred. Vi ønsker at udfordre gymnastisksalens autoritet og fylde den med et andet sprog. Det er en invitation til at bevæge dit minde.
Værket er skabt af Convoi Exceptionnel i samarbejde med billedkunster Maiken Bent, koreograf og danser Wayson Poon og komponist og musiker Paul Yip. På scenen er danserne Linette Stamp Christensen og Kingsan Lo.
