Torsdag d. 9. februar udgiver Mynsterland, sin debut-EP og spiller i den forbindelse releasekoncert i hjertet af Odense.
Venskab og spilleglæde – så enkelt kan Mynsterland beskrives. De 12 nære venner, mødtes tilbage i 2011 gennem Syddansk Folkemusik Talentskole. Årene gik, og de blev spredt rundt i landet på forskellige uddannelser; nogle af dem på musikkonservatoriet, andre på møbelsnedkerskolen og medicinstudiet. De savnede dog så meget at spille sammen, at de i 2016 satte sig sammen for at danne dette band…
Og man har nærmest ikke kunne drømme om en bedre start: I juni 2016 fik de stor success med deres debutsingle/musikvideo Kærlighedstræet/Hultkläppen, der gik viralt på facebook og bandet fik den bedste livedebut man kunne forestille sig på et propfuldt Jazzhus Montmartre i København i septembers. I novembers var de på Danmarksturné, og vandt tilmed en Danish Music Award Folk for Årets Nye Talent.
