Og så til den store Earth Wind & Fire fejring, da gudenummeret ”September” for kun to
dage siden fyldte 40 år. Det skal fejres og hvis ikke det var os, Natdisk, der skulle gøre det,
hvem ind i helvede skulle så??
Så vi har gaflet lille Vega lørdag d. 15. december og byder ind med et regulært valkyrieridt
af alt det præmiefede Earth Wind & Fire.
Vi holdt rent faktisk en tilsvarende fest tilbage i 2009, hvor undertegnede købte ALT
Earth Wind & Fire LIVE på DVD. Ud af dette fabrikeredes et sammenklippet sæt på en time.
Dette starter ”live-show” starter aftenen d. 15. december (kl. 21, der varer 60 min.).
Efter denne EW&F krammer, overtager DJ’en og repertoiret vil så være bygget op omkring en masse
blandet EW&F, i selskab med noget af det andets tidsløse Gudefunk/soul fra genrens heydays.
Vi taler Stevie, MJ, Quincy, Chaka, etc.
Bemærk: En EW&F tribute i Natdiskregi betyder IKKE ”September”, ”Boogie Wonderland”
& ”Let’s Groove” i endeløs båndsløjfe. Vi skal ned i materien og genopdage alle
de andre kongenumre!! Et givent nummer spilles ÉN gang. Undtagen ”September”,
der jo har særstatus denne aften.
Men for Guds skyld. Kom en anden aften hvis du ikke elsker Earth Wind & Fire.
