Dette nye band på den danske jazzscene tager udgangspunkt i et traditionelt New Orleans repertoire, men lader sig, med afsæt i Niclas Bardelebens arrangementer, inspirere af alt fra bebop til ragtime, free jazz, blues og nordisk jazz. Besætningen med trommer, bas og tre blæsere gør det muligt for gruppen at spille smukke harmonier såvel som skæve arrangementer. Fraværet af et akkordinstrument giver bandet en mere åben lyd og baner vejen for en frisk tilgang til musikken fra starten af det 20. århundrede, som er bandets hovedfokus.
