NORRØN ARV OG NATIONALE IDENTITETER
Forskerholdet bag det internationale forskningsprojekt Reclaiming the Northern Past. The Shaping of National and Transnational Identities through Old Norse Literature 1750-1900 mødes i København, og i den anledning slår vi dørene op for et åbent eftermiddagsseminar, hvor fem af de medvirkende forskere præsenterer og drøfter deres aktuelle forskning.
Alle oplæg er på dansk og efterfølges af spørgetid.

Rasmus Glenthøj:
Union eller undergang. Kampen for et forenet Skandinavien.
Kim Simonsen:
Filologi og færøsk romantisk nationalisme i det lange 19. årh.
Robert W. Rix:
Mellem runer og rædsel. Den nordiske arv og kulturkrigen om den britiske litteratur.

Hvor ville Danmark være uden Island? Islandsk sprog og litteraturs betydning for dansk kultur- og nationsbygning.
