Ord for Omstilling: Forfatteraften med Charlotte Weitze
Charlotte Weitze (f. 1974) er på én gang skønlitterær forfatter og klimapraktiker.
Som forfatter tematiserer hun ofte forholdet mellem menneske og natur og er kendt for at inddrage motiver fra folkeeventyret og væsener fra folketroen i sine fortællinger. Siden debuten i 1996 har hun udgivet en lang række værker, senest romanen Ulvemælk (2025). Hun har modtaget mange legater og priser, for nyligt den livsvarige hædersydelse fra Statens Kunstfond.
Ved siden af forfatterskabet har hun en helt anden og mere praktisk tilgang til den grønne omstilling: Sammen med sin mand har hun nemlig lavet en 2030-plan for deres egen husstand, som vil nedbringe familiens CO₂-udledning med 70 procent inden 2030.
Til litteraturaftenen i Ord for Omstilling vil hun både forholde sig til, hvordan kunsten kan være en form for klimahandling og reflektere over værdien af hverdagens praktiske omstilling. Der vil desuden være interview med Charlotte – og mulighed for spørgsmål fra publikum.
Om Ord for Omstilling
Aftenen med Charlotte Weitze er del af samtalerækken Ord for Omstilling, arrangeret af Klimaakademiet og Villa Kultur. Serien startede op i 2025 med forfatterne Nicolaj Schultz, Mathilde Walter Clark og Peder Frederik Jensen – og fortsætter nu i 2026 med støtte fra Statens Kunstfond.
Ord for Omstilling tager udgangspunkt i en dyb overbevisning: Hvis vi for alvor skal løse klima- og naturkriserne, kræver det grundlæggende samfundsforandringer. Her spiller kunsten og litteraturen en afgørende rolle: De kan give os nye sprog og billeder for de fællesskaber og livsformer, vi ønsker at skabe – og dermed styrke vores evne til at forestille os og virkeliggøre andre måder at leve på.
Derfor inviterer vi i denne samtalerække markante forfattere og tænkere, der på hver deres måde kaster lys over forholdet mellem natur, menneske og samfund:

- Anders Holst Bodin (3. marts): Om klimakrisens rødder – og hvad vi har lært af Ord for Omstilling
