Regensen er Danmarks næstældste kollegium og blev bygget af Christian 4. i 1623. Regensen skulle huse modtagere af legatet ”Kommunitetet af 1569”, som blev givet til de værdigst trængende og flittigste studerende. Regensens ånd er stadig ungdommens og studenterlivets, med alt hvad dertil hører af akademiske ambitioner og studentikose løjer. I 1800-tallet var Regensen centrum for universitetskulturen og studenterne havde høje ambitioner på samfundets vegne. Kom med inden for på Regensen og bliv klogere på studenternes betydning for København med fokus på 1800-tallet ved historiker Troels Peter Roland.
