Pangaia er en instrumental sekstet fra København, som fokuserer på at bruge improvisatorisk musik til at skabe samhørighed og dialog mellem mennesker. Med et kompositorisk fokus på stærke melodier, udgør nerven og kommunikationen kernen i Pangaias musikalske udtryk, hvor alle medlemmer bidrager til den kollektive kreativitet. Til deres koncerter stræber de efter at levere et opløftende, nysgerrigt og ærligt perspektiv på improvisatorisk musik i dag. Med en jazztilgang der er mere fokuseret på metode end genremæssige kendetegn, trækker de inspiration fra Art Blakey til Aaron Parks, Debussy til Dilla, som farver deres varierede repertoire.
