Han er samtidig en unik kombination af en dybt respekteret jazz-musiker og en verdensklasse hjerneforsker. Han er danmarks førende ekspert inden for feltet "Music In The Brain" - et forskningsfelt han egenhændigt har opbygget og er daglig leder af. Samtidig er han aktuel med sin seneste bog-udgivelse fra april 2017 - “Musik På Hjernen”
Veronica Mortensen er en af Danmarks absolut førende jazzsangerinder.
