Hvordan konsumerer man en svamp i et foodlab?
Ud fra Oskar Kolianders installation Intelligo v.4, vokser lysende pink østershatte frem, fra en aluminiumssøjle, inficeret med en litteraturens klassikere. En svamp podet med viden og følelser – bliver vi klogere og mere følsomme af at spise den?
For at undersøge dette, mødes de to kunstnere Augusta Sørensen og Oskar Koliander i et laboratorie, de sammen bygger op af hver deres feltarbejde og viden om svampen og skaber en performativ, sensorisk smagsoplevelse.
Installation og performance udfolder sig i et klinisk “institutionelt” laboratorium, hvor restaurantens kammermusik er erstattet af maskinernes summen, og stearinlyset af neonlysets skær. Spisningen foregår gennem fem sanseeksperimenter ved fem forsøgsstationer, hvor du som gæst i foodlab er med til at udføre eksperimenterne i en analysering, dissekering og tilberedning af svampene.
