POW inviterer til gratis visning af dokumentaren 'The War Show - venner i krig' i VerdensKulturCentret, Salen.
I 2011 bliver den syriske radiovært Obaidah Zytoon og hendes venner revet med af Det Arabiske Forårs modstand mod regimet. De filmer deres liv blandt kunstnere og aktivister og demonstrationerne mod præsident Assad. Som opstanden udvikler sig til en blodig borgerkrig, bliver drømme til mareridt. Zytoon forlader Damaskus og rejser til sin hjemby Zabadani, til rebellernes højborg Homs og til det nordlige Syrien, hvor hun oplever den spirende ekstremisme.
The War Show er en personlig beretning om den syriske krise, der bringer den tættere på en mediernes dækning kan, og på sjælden vis fanger også de stille, eftertænksomme øjeblikke i en ellers hektisk og overvældende situation, der kan være meget svær at forstå, når man ikke selv har været der.

POW POWER OF Women festivalen er et udstillingsvindue for værker, der har kvinders fortællinger i centrum. Værker skabt af kvindelige kunstnere inden for flere kunstformer: Film, musik, scenekunst, design, litteratur og arkitektur.
