Den københavnske søskendeduo PRISMA har gang i sommerfestivalerne, men allerede nu kan du fange dem på SV-festival! Kom helt tæt på bandets univers af tostemmig vokal, støjguitar, lo-fi maskintrommer, fjerne synth-stabs og plekterbas, som forløses i forrygende omkvæd, når de rammer KPH Volume på en aften, som indledes af den upcomin’ poprockede hiphop-duo BASKE.
PRISMA Siden Frida og Sirid Møl Kristensen aka PRISMA i 2014 begyndte at lave musik sammen på barndomsværelset inspireret af artister som Agnes Obel og The Raveonettes, har søstrene ramt en nerve, der inviterer lytteren ind i et filmisk og drømmende univers. Deres numre er især kendetegnede af deres sfæriske og velklingende flerstemmige vokaler, der svæver på en minimalistisk og tung produktion af støjende guitarer og elektroniske soundscapes.
Lyrikken tager udgangspunkt i stærke følelser og personlige historier; både om livets store spørgsmål, og om søsterforhold, og spænder over et bredt følelsesmæssigt spektrum. I maj 2021 udgav de deres anden EP “Inside Out”, som er en coming-of-age-fortælling, hvor de med musikken afsøger deres udvikling som individer. EP’en modtog 6 stjerner af GAFFA med ordene: “Det er i virkeligheden svært at få armene ned, når det går op for en, at vi har at gøre med noget så sjældent som et stykke originalt, medrivende alt-pop, med punkede tendenser. Fra Danmark!”
BASKE består af Aske (vokal) og Sebastian (producer). De skriver sange fra forstaden om det at være ung, fanget imellem venskaber og kærlighed, betaget og fortumlet af tilværelsen og med følelserne uden på tøjet. Med en umiddelbar og legende tilgang til musikken skaber de et omfavnende univers, hvor intet er umuligt og hvor ærligheden bliver eksistensgrundlaget for en lyd, der blander genrer som pop, rock og hip/hop i én charmerende og eftertænksom blanding. De har tidligere udgivet albummet ”BASKE”, som kan findes på SoundCloud. På live-fronten har duoen siden genåbningen haft travlt. De har bla. ageret warm-up act for Easy Life I Lille Vega og Fäbrak på hele deres Danmarks tour. BASKE vil også være at finde på dette års SPOT Festival. For nyligt kunne drengene derudover kalde sig vinder af den nordiske talent konkurrence ”Popcorn Nordic”.
