    Description

    Do you love food?

Are you wondering which local products to buy, and where to get them?

Are you stuck in the city, and crave a deeper connection to where your food comes from, or just a day in the countryside?

Would you like to visit a few small-scale farmers, see how they work, and hear what makes them unique?

On the Regenerative Farm Crawl, you’ll meet four very different small-scale farmers within Denmark’s regenerative agriculture movement. We’ll spend the day hearing their stories, touring their fields, and tasting the fruits (vegetables, grains, cheeses, and cider) of their labor. You’ll come away from the day with a deeper knowledge of what regenerative farming can look like, what its benefits are in terms of soil, food and climate, and of course, a belly full of the best seasonal ingredients, straight from the farms.

Join the bus from Basal - Byens Landhandel in Nørrebro, and from there we’ll visit four farms in Central Sealand, and build community around local food and sustainable agriculture.

The farms on the program include:

Copenhagen Goat Milk - cheese and more from Danish landrace goats

Kløverlund - Market garden and new CSA

Quartz Mølle - Innovative farm and mill producing cereals and legumes

Farendløse Mosteri - Market garden, apple orchard, cidery and host of the new Regenrative Agriculture school

    With Special Guests:

Jazzed on Grains - Pasta makers using 100% locally-grown cereals
