Ny udstilling dykker ned i et dystert stykke Danmarkshistorie: Vores koloniale fortid.
Få nye perspektiver på værker, vi troede, vi kendte så godt. Og dyk ned i tidligere ufortalte historier i værker af blandt andre C.W. Eckersberg, Astrid Holm, Nicolai Abildgaard og Jens Juel.
100-året for salget af Dansk Vestindien til USA i 1917 har været en anledning for SMK til at se på museets værker med andre øjne.
Kom helt tæt på værkerne sammen med SMK’s museumsinspektør og forsker Henrik Holm og undersøg en, i billedkunsten, dårligt belyst del af Danmarkshistorien. Efter særomvisningen byder SMK på et glas vin i Caféen. Husk fremvisning af billet.

Voksne: 160 kr.
Unge under 30 år: 130 kr.
Årskorthaver: 50 kr.
