Den fjerde udgave af Samsø Jazzfestival går i luften den 26.-28. juli 2018, som opfølger på
de store successer i 2015, 2016 og 2017. Bag festivalen står to unge gutter; Rolf Thofte og Mikkel Drejer Bertelsen, der begge er
født og opvokset på Samsø, og som gerne vil give den en skalle for jazzen og for Samsø.
Festivalen arrangeres i et samarbejde med foreningen Samsø Jazzforening. Programmet lægger vægt på højt
kunstnerisk niveau, stilistisk diversitet og en blanding af etablerede navne og yngre talenter, som på Samsø mødes til gensidig
inspiration af hinanden og publikum.
Samsø Jazzfestival finder sted i Ballen tæt ved havet, stranden, lystbådehavnen, lækre restauranter, butikker og meget andet. Alt sammen indenfor rækkevidde på en 5 minutters spadseretur.
Programmet vil bestå af 6 koncerter på 3 dage og vil løbende blive offentliggjort i løbet af foråret
