Sebastian Lynggaard er forfatter, vært på radioprogrammet ”Hjerteflimmer for voksne” – og kendt som mememager og manden bag den populære Instagram-profil @herligesvend.
I sin bog ’Mandsforræder’ dykker han ned i det at være mand og hvad det betyder at udfordre de klassiske forestillinger om maskulinitet. Han tager fat på de følelser, der ofte bliver fortiet– mindreværd, vrede og ensomhed – og stiller spørgsmålet: Hvad hvis mænd begynder at tale åbent om deres følelser?
I februar kan du opleve Sebastian Lynggaard til to spændende arrangementer i samarbejde med henholdsvis Thisted Bryghus og Stuen til højre.
Hos Stuen til højre/Kunsthal Jens kan du opleve Sebastian Lynggaard i samtale med kunstner, fotojournalist og leder Angelina Owino. Sammen med publikum tager de den samtale, der mangler i omklædningsrummet – om maskulinitet, tvivl og hvorfor det er så svært for mange mænd at tale om følelser. Arrangement giver både plads til, at mænd kan reflektere over deres eget køn og til at kvinder kan få indsigt i, hvad det vil sige at være mand anno 2024.
Dørene åbner kl. 15 – og kl. 16 begynder samtalesalonen. Baren holder åbent frem til kl. 18.30.

KulturRummet i Thy er ikke et traditionelt kulturhus, men består af nye og gamle kulturhuse, der samarbejder på tværs – inde og ude.
KulturRummet dækker over Biblioteket i Thy, Musik- og Kulturskolen i Thy, medborgerhuset Plantagehuset og Madværkstedet, byrummet Smedjen og Thisted Musikteater.
