Select Captain er en dansk duo der består af Kristian Gaarskjær og Søren Vestergaard.
Over 4 albums, en række singler og mere end 300 koncerter i ind- og udland har Select Captain med deres eget take på indie-folk/folk-pop skabt en unik, organisk og ambient lyd i et mix af akustiske og elektroniske instrumenter med et fokus på stærke melodier og en produktion der på én gang føles både moderne og traditionel. Tilsammen skaber det et særegent og personligt lydunivers. Som et møde mellem Ryan Adams, Thom Yorke, The National og Depeche Mode. Og alt du ikke vidste du lige stod og manglede.
I januar 2024 udgiver duo'en deres 5. album og de første singler fra dette har været i solid rotation hos Danmarks Radio P5. Samtidig har Select Captain haft fin succes på streamingtjenesterne hvor deres musik eksempelvis er afspillet mere end 3 mio. gange på Spotify
Musikterrassen Tuse Næs, er vores private sommerhushave, som vi åbner op for musikere og glade gæster. Man medbringer selv stol eller tæppe, tag også gerne kurv med snacks og drikke med eller køb det i vores bar!
