Sumpen: En overgangszone, hvor forskellige typer af information kan deles og rejse fra mund til mund. Ligesom køleskabe, skraldespande eller forladte huse kan sumpen opbevare ting og sager, som ikke umiddelbart er indenfor folks sanserækkevide. Et sted hvor ting bliver glemt, eller måske ligefrem gerne vil glemmes, og samtidig langtidsopbevaret som metaforiske væsner i vores fælles bevidsthed.

Sensorisk Verden er et projekt startet af Alexander Holm. Siden 2016 har de præsenteret en lang række af lydværker, performance events og udstillinger. Med et gennemgående fokus på eksperimenterende formater og organisering viser platformens katalog kunstnere, der arbejder i spændingsfeltet mellem musik og kunst. Denne begivenhed markerer første halvdel af Gathering Together Swamp, som senere på året vil blive udgivet som et compilationalbum.

Gathering Together Swamp - A two-day performance series curated by Sensorisk Verden.
The Swamp: A transition zone where different types of information can be shared and travel as word of mouth. Like refrigerators, trash cans or abandoned cities, the swamp can store things that are not immediately within the human range of perception. A place where things are forgotten or perhaps even wants to be forgotten, and at the same time long-term stored as metaphors in our common consciousness.
Sensorisk Verden is a project started by Alexander Holm in 2016, and which since then has presented a large number of sound works, performance events and exhibitions. With a consistent focus on experimental formats and organisation, the platform's catalog shows artists working in the intersection between music and art. This event marks the first half of Gathering Together Swamp, which will be released later this year as a compilation album.

Opened on the 1st of February 2018, ALICE is Copenhagen’s powerhouse for adventurous music. ALICE is presenting a bold and high quality program of global roots, jazz/improv, electronic music, sonic experiments and much more, shedding light on musical roots and legendary artists as well as exciting new breakthroughs from all over the world.
