Fotografen Mick Rock er en af de få, der faktisk fortjener at blive kaldt en legende. En poet med et kamera, en psykedelisk opdagelsesrejsende og en kulørt kronikør af sin generations drømme.
Musikfilmen Shot! The Psycho-Spiritual Mantra of Rock er et episk tilbageblik på britiske Mick Rocks liv som fotograf for (og ven af) folk som Lou Reed, David Bowie og Iggy Pop - og på et liv med koncerter og heftige fester i miljøerne omkring Londons glamrock-scene og New Yorks punkundergrund. Så er linien ligesom lagt!
I samarbejde med VICE fejrer vi filmen med en aften dedikeret til musikfotografiet, musikkens visuelle side og ikke mindst dens ikoner. Shiny Darkly giver koncert i foyeren og landets mest prominente musikfotograf Søren Solkær kigger forbi til en talk omkring det særlige bånd mellem musik og fotokunst, og om sit eget møde med mesteren Mick Rock. Og så er der selvfølgelig fest natten lang i Natbar-regi bagefter!
