Vi starter ved kanten af det Gamle København, ved Nørreport Station (ved Kaffetårnet), og går via Torvehaller over og flere niveauer af moderne angst, uro, trængsel, alarm og lommesmerter til Nørrebro, hvor selv julepynten er genstand for ideologiske opgør.
Undervejs fortæller Paul juletekster om, hvordan man kan overleve julen (eller ikke) fra Herman Bang, Emma Gad og Dan Turell …
