Siden gennembruddet med albummet »Storbyens Små Oaser« i 1977 har Carsten Valentin Jørgensen indtaget rollen nationens førende rockpoet. Som tekstforfatter er CV et unikum og han har ofte givet den sprogligt gas i teksterne som syrlig satiriker, hvor blandt andet den danske kolonihaveidyl og den akademiske intelligentsia er blevet spiddet af rockpoetens spidse pen. Men samtidig har CV Jørgensen også evnet at male en fængslende og sælsom skønhed frem i gloserne som altid har boblet af liv og lys.
Denne aften mødes Klaus Lynggaard (musikkritiker ved Dagbladet Information og forfatter) og Mads Hendrich (musik- og kulturjournalist på Berlingske) til en uformel samtale om C.V. Jørgensen og hans sangtekster.
