SMK Akademiet: Købke, konservering og kunsthistorie
Christen Købke var en af den danske guldalders største kunstneriske begavelser og helt uovertruffen, når det gjaldt registreringsevne, penselbehandling og koloristisk sans. I 2014 opdagede SMK’s team af konservatorer, at et af hans kendteste værker muligvis gemte på en anden historie end den kunsthistorien kendte til.

SMK Akademiet er et nyt tiltag, der præsenterer forelæsningsrækker om de vigtigste fortællinger i kunsthistorien. Denne forelæsning er den 3. forelæsning i rækken Danske Mestre i 1800-tallet
