Vi glæder os umådeligt over igen at kunne invitere jer til en europæisk, festlig og lækkert akustisk JAZZ aften på Bartof Station! De gange, kvartetten har spillet hos os, har de væltet folk bagover af begejstring!

Med et stjernespækket orkester bestående af personlige og karakteristiske solister og med et skræddersyet repertoire, hvor spilleglæde, nærvær og ikke mindst swing er i højsædet, har trommeslageren og komponisten Snorre Kirk på rekordtid formået at gøre sit orkester til et af de mest efterspurgte i både ind- og udland med seks anmelderroste udgivelser i bagagen, samt optrædener på nogle af verdens førende jazzfestivaler i Europa, USA og Asien.
Til Vinterjazz har Snorre Kirk fornøjelsen af at byde velkommen til to af de mest fremtrædende profiler fra den yngre generation af britiske jazzmusikere, der som jazznation i disse år oplever en sand kreativ renaissance.
Saxofonisten Giacomo Smith er en af de mest toneangivende skikkelser i det britiske jazzmiljø både som frontfigur og primus motor i det succesfulde orkester Kansas Smitty’s og som ophavsmand til jazzklubben af samme navn samt som solist med alt og alle fra Jamie Cullum til Wynton Marsalis.
Klaverfænomenet Joe Webb tilhører samme generation og betragtes som værende et af Englands helt store fremadstormende klavertalenter.
Med bassisten Anders Fjeldsted til at fuldende kvartetten vil vi her få mulighed for at opleve, hvordan den klassiske jazz kan lyde i 2025 på begge sider af kanalen!
