The discussion around “refugee crisis” turned into an over exploited concept in mass media that has been translated into an increasing militarization of borders, deepened state racism, inhuman living conditions in the camps, massive deportations and rising inequality.
In a context where this situation seems far from reaching neither solution nor end; we organize a panel debate with organizations working on the ground.
Is it a migrant-refugees crisis? Is it a crisis of war, resources exploitation, inequality and climate change? Which is the role of the States? Why right-winged parties are increasing across Europe? How do organizations and civil society tackle and perceive the issue? Which work is being done in the ground? Which is our role in this whole spectrum?
We aim to rise up questions and reach a deeper understanding of global migration and the current socio-political context.
