Torstens mor skal have en baby. Torstens dårligste ven, Willy, ved godt hvorfor. Det er fordi Torstens mor og far ikke synes han er nuttet nok mere, fordi de ikke elsker ham så meget mere. I en hel lang uge prøver Torsten at finde ud af hvad han kan gøre: Måske vil hans mor og far elske ham, hvis han bliver mere nuttet? Eller hvis han rydder op på sit værelse?Eller måske må han simpelthen prøve at forstå, hvordan det hænger sammen, det der med kærlighed.
”Søndag” er en dramatisering af Fupz' underfundige og filosofiske hverdagshistorie - gjort levende for de 4-8 årige med brug af små og store dukker, lysprojektioner og fortælling i et konsekvent og billedrigt formsprog.
